The SE-10 Graphic Equalizer was Dynaco's 10-band magnum opus. Its technology was both old and new at the time it was made. It used L-C resonators for all but the four lowest bands, and gyrators for the two lowest frequency bands. For Dynaco, this was once again probably the least expensive way to do the job. The 4 lowest frequencies, 30, 60, 120, and 240 Hz would require impractically large and expensive inductors and capacitors. The answer was to use opamps, LM-348 quad opamps, to make the resonator circuits.
It was introduced in 1976, according to Greg Dunne's Dynaco site, only available on the wayback machine.
That same source lists Wade Burns as the designer.
The following links are a scan of a nice, clean copy of the SE-10 assembly and user manual. The files are both kind
of big because the scans are high res. You can zoom in tight to see what-ever you need, since they were scanned at 300 dpi.
They even include the large fold-out diagram.
